These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ZŌN app and related services ("ZŌN"), operated by intozon.app. By creating an account or using ZŌN, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ZŌN for your own, non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the applicable App Store rules. ZŌN, its design, name, and content remain our property.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a ZŌN account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have your parent's or guardian's permission before purchasing a subscription.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the app or any part of it
- Interfere with, abuse, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts
- Use ZŌN for anything unlawful or in violation of App Store terms
Your display name is visible to other users on the leaderboard. You agree not to use a display name that is offensive, hateful, or sexually explicit, that impersonates another person, or that contains personal information (yours or anyone else's). We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior: we may change or remove display names, hide leaderboard entries, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. You can report an offensive name directly from the leaderboard, and hide any user from your own view.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account.
4. Subscriptions and free trials
Some ZŌN features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your App Store account and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in accordance with the App Store's terms. Plans may include a free trial: if you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid subscription at the price shown. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase; refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at support.apple.com/HT204084. Deleting your ZŌN account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel it in your App Store settings first.
If you live in the EU or EEA, your purchase contract is with Apple Distribution International Ltd. (Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland), not with us: Apple is the seller of record, issues your invoice, and collects VAT. EU consumer law gives you 14 days to withdraw from an App Store purchase, and Apple honours that right through the same refund request linked above. Nothing in these Terms limits it.
5. Not medical advice
ZŌN is a wellness and productivity tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about sleep, attention, or wellbeing, talk to a qualified professional.
6. AI and AI-generated content
Most of ZŌN's visual world is AI-generated artwork. The habitat art, the island renders, and the landscape scenery in the app and on our website, the still images and the moving backgrounds alike, were made by us with AI image and video tools. They are stylized, not documentary: they are imagined places, not photographs or recordings of real locations, animals, or events, and you should not read them as a record of anything real. The wildlife clips of individual species are the exception: those are licensed footage of real animals, credited with their license IDs on our science page.
ZŌN provides no generative feature. The app does not produce text, images, or advice for you while you use it. The lines you see on a blocked app, during a session, and at bedtime are a fixed set of sentences written in advance and shipped inside the app, chosen by the clock or at random. Nothing you type or do in ZŌN is sent to an AI model.
The license in section 1 and the rules in section 3 apply here too: you may not use ZŌN's artwork, text, or any other content to train a machine-learning model or to build a dataset, and you may not scrape, copy, or extract it for that purpose.
If we ever add a generative or AI-powered feature, we'll update these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and tell you in the app, before it ships.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
ZŌN is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any particular result.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, intozon.app and its founder will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) ZŌN. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Indemnity
If your violation of these Terms or your misuse of ZŌN causes a third party to bring a claim against intozon.app or its founder, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages arising from that claim. Nothing in this section limits rights that consumer-protection law gives you.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update this page and its effective date, and communicate meaningful changes in the app. Continuing to use ZŌN after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Termination
You can stop using ZŌN and delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, and disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Mexico. If the consumer-protection law of the country where you live gives you mandatory rights or the right to bring a claim where you live, nothing in this section takes those away. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
